Flora and Fauna in Penallt

The idea of this section of the website is to try and capture the diversity of flora and fauna within Penallt. If there is sufficient interest this may develop into a community project.

Although some expensive camera equipment may be required for capturing birds in flight there are many opportunities for camera phones which generally have excellent close focus capabilities suitable for flowers and fungi. As they say the best camera is the one that you have with you when you want to take a photograph.

There are five sections Birds, Butterflies, Flower, Insects and Mammals but others will be added as required.

This is first and foremost an experiment to see if there is a group of local residents who would like to contribute to the website. When you are out and about please join in a take take some photos.
