Important News from Dwr Cymru: Water Pipe Upgrades in Your Area
Drop-In event at Pelham Hall on 17th August (see below)
We’re upgrading the water pipes in your area and want to let you know what this means for you. Welsh Water is investing over £8 million to upgrade more than 13km of water pipes in your community. Some of our pipes are over 100 years old and nearing the end of their operational life. This investment will improve the drinking water network and reduce the risk of leaks and supply interruptions.
Your Water Supply During the Work
Most of the time, there will be no interruption to your water supply.
Your water may occasionally appear darker than usual. This is normal during such work and will clear if you run your kitchen cold tap.
If we need to turn off your water for a short period, we will contact you via text message.
To receive updates, please ensure we have your current mobile or landline number. Update your details via live chat or call our 24-hour contact number: 0800 052 0130.
Thank you for your patience and understanding while this essential work takes place. We aim to complete everything as quickly as possible.
