An unmissable chance to hear local adventurer talk at Pelham Hall on Thursday 29th!
Penallt resident Wendy Searle has extensive experience adventuring all over the world. After crossing Greenland, she completed a 42-day solo expedition to the South Pole in 2020. She is passionate about sharing her love of the great outdoors.
A keen mountainbiker, hiker, trail runner and climber, Wendy loves the UK mountains and countryside as much as more extreme environments. Keen to share her experiences, and to give people a really positive experience of the outdoors, she also regularly gives talks about overcoming challenges to adventure and expedition.
Wendy will be giving an informal talk on her adventures, and on her next challenge, on Thursday, 29th September at 8pm. There will be no ticket sales for the talk but Wendy hopes to raise funds by a collection for two charities - the Youth Adventure Trust and the Penallt Babington Educational Trust.
The talk will take place in the Pelham Hall bar area when the sale of Ben’s fish and chips is over.
