St David’s Day 2019
Dear Tom,
On behalf of the Pelham Hall Trustees, may I thank you very much indeed for not only entertaining the community splendidly with your recent production of Aladdin, but also for raising the incredible sum of £3483.14 to go towards our project of installing a lift for the disabled into the Hall. We are most grateful that you were eager to support this project and for the widespread promotion which you gave to it also.
Let me add some quotations from Trustees too …
“I was struck by the huge number of hours spent by the cast in preparation of the staging and the rehearsals, day and night for months it seemed. No effort was spared to not spend any money in order to maximise the total profit. Another legacy benefit is that many new friendships have been made, reunions are planned, the Inn will benefit.”
“It was the most professional, amateur show I’ve ever seen. The entire crew seemed to be totally engaged and enjoying the experience too.”
“The experience was wonderful and we couldn’t have done it without the hall, the volunteers that helped man the bar etc etc - the list goes on. Every time there is an event on, people in Penallt show their wonderfully true colours!”
“I think this has given all involved a sense of pride, belonging and friendship and will benefit Penallt for many years to come.”
“Organisation of Panto was excellent with Tom considering every aspect including maximising the value made from the Panto by inviting people to dress rehearsal, raffle as well as a hundred and one other things involved in putting a production together. Truly remarkable!”
As hinted by the last quotation, this wouldn’t have happened without your own enthusiasm, organisation and drive. We are in awe of what you’ve achieved!
Please pass on our thanks to all involved too.
Best regards,
David
