Roger is making a welcome return, not skipping back through quite so many centuries this time as he'll be talking about medicine in the early 1800s, including the contribution of Dr Jenner towards the eventual eradication of smallpox, Dr Samuel Archer, a ship’s surgeon on the SS Great Britain, and the rise of quack medicine.

A popular speaker making his 5th visit to Penalt.
