On 29th September 2015 I reported an Irish male attending an address in Penallt and trying sell fire extinguishers.
On 1st October 2015 the man was stopped by police officers on the B4347 at Rockfield. He had no licence so his vehicle was seized and he was reported for motoring offences.
He was, however, legally allowed to sell extinguishers
Earlier today a male driving a white Toyota Landcruiser called at a farm in Penallt where he offered to sell the farmer one of a quantity of fire extinguishers he had with him.
The male, described as Irish, 40s to 50s and wearing a jacket with the word Firesafe on it and carrying a home-made ID card, was sent on his way.
