Great value gourmet dinner in Pelham Hall, cooked by a top chef!

Following the great success of the recent Bastille Day Dinner, Vincent Castellano has prepared a menu for an Italian evening in September

Vincent is Sicilian by birth, trained as a chef in France and moved to the UK in the 80s working as a chef for many restaurants until he became a partner in the well-known Glassboat moored in Bristol.

28th September 2019 Menu - £35 pp.

(a selection of wines recommended by Vincent will be available to buy at the bar for your table)

Vegetarian and gluten free options also available (see below)


To Start:

Sharing platter of:

Meat balls in tomato sauce,

Caponata bruschetta V

Mozzarella & plum tomatoes with Basil dressing V


Raviolo di Porcini

Large ravioli of Porcini mushrooms with Dolcelatte sauce and toasted pine-nuts V


Main course

Porchetta con Salsa Verde

Rolled and stuffed belly of pork with garlic and oregano

served with Salsa Verde, Mash and Cavallo Nero


Torta di cioccolata e nocciole V

Chocolate and hazelnut torte with Frangelico Cream.

Vegetarian options:

Chick peas in rich tomato sauce

(to replace meat balls in sharing platter)

Raviolo as above

Main course

Melanzana all parmigiana V

Baked aubergine filled with almond, tomato & parmesan in rich tomato sauce.
