Until March 2016, the Hall's Premises Licence was granted to the Pelham Social Club. This enabled the bar to be run for the benefit of Social Club members and their guests but not for a wider customer base when a Temporary Event Notice had to be obtained. The system worked but was difficult to administer properly and it became obvious that a change was needed.
A new licence was granted on 4th March 2016 which transferred responsibility for running the bar from the Social Club to the Pelham Hall Management Committee so that, in effect, the Trustees of the Hall are now the licensees.
