"From a photo that I will provide we can set out the composition and colours with brushes. Later we can use a palette knife to get some texture and strong colours. Its great fun and very enjoyable."
- 2x palette knife small and medium
- 1 primed canvas A3 or similar size
- Mixing palette
- 2x sheet of A3 tracing paper or whatever you have
- Loo or Kitchen Roll
- Jar for cleaning brushes

People familiar with Alex's work will know he is known for his love of colour and natural observation, whether it is a landscape, still life, figurative or abstract painting.
Alex studied fine art, painting at Camberwell school of art in the 1980s and has been a professional exhibiting artist and teacher since.
He has worked in private collections in the UK and abroad, as well as public collections in the UK including the London Transport Museum, Art for Hospitals and a recent acquisition by the John Moores University for their Thomas Aquinas building.
