Art in Penallt was conceived six years ago when a small group of local artists and residents came together to organise an exhibition of eclectic art in the village of Penallt. The festival is now recognised by artists and visitors from far afield and this, our fifth year, promises to be even better than before.
Over the years we have attracted top artists and makers like the renowned potter, our patron, Walter Keeler, not only to show but to demonstrate as well.
The preview, on the opening night in Capel Pentwyn, has a great buzz to it and is not to be missed. The fine art exhibition runs for three days alongside a student exhibition, demonstrations and Made in Monmouthshire stalls on the adjacent Babington Meadow – see the programme for details.
We have facilities to take payments by debit and credit cards (with a 2% supplement), cheques or cash and all purchases may be taken away when paid for.
If you would like to be kept informed of future events you can either leave your details at the stand in Babington Meadow or send to our email address email@example.com. Details of how to become a Friend of Art in Penallt can be found here.
